The main drawback is that Virtual Midi can not forward midi notes to another midi instrument port (Midi Out - Thru - In)
As for example: to a Voice Live or Yamaha Motif Rack
Without this. You can only listen to midi dates but nothing else. regrettable
So back to StandaloneVsti Host :-(

This feature has already been asked a lot of times:

Basically VMS is a driver, a virtual device, not a MIDI processor or such.
It's up to the elements BEFORE VMS, i.e. MIDI player, DAWs or Notation software, to output the correct tracks to multiple output devices.

I think that i don't explain verry well.. I Mean  To use Virtualmidi it with soundfonts and the same time sending midi data to a Vocoder (external hardware) so that I can multipli my voice

I USE in midifiles channel 16 to send midi data to my Tc- hellicon voice life

i thing if it is possible that Vst module can play the instruments and a the same time it sending mdidi data to and excternal device

I suposed that it is alsow possible to implementing this in Virtualmidi
