Hi Kinwie,
I don't really know if the underlying BASS libraries (the one I use for the synth part) support modulation.
Could you please post a really short MIDI sample file containing a few notes and the controller messages you're referring to?
I'll forward them to un4seen forum and see what happens...

Hello Claudio,
Thanks a lot for answering my question. So I see, now I understand that VMS depends on the BassLibrary. About a midi samples, it actually pretty basic and everyone can make it easy. They are common midi CC data/automation which target on what specified in the soundfont. If that necessary i can make one example and send it to you.
If you don't mind and allow me to take this discussion to mail/contact form which i feel should be more comfortable, i will be happy to explain about this subject.
Regards,
kinwie

We can go on by mail, if you prefer.W
We'll get back here if we found something interesting.
Feel free to reply to the address I already replied you from.
As for the MIDI sample: it's better if you send a pre-made sample file.
That way I'm sure to use a file that shows the issue instead of taking the risk of using a non working self-made one.
Again, since my spare time is dropping day by day, I prefer focusing on bug testing.
EDIT 2014.03.14: it seems that the underlying BASS library (used by VMS for MIDI synthesis) does not support modulation. I'll forward the question to their forum.

Hi guys, For what I've been asking, the modulator yet unimplemented.
But now I can surely say that all the soundfont parameters has been supported.
Ian, the BASS library creator has add the last four parameters, you can see them in the VMS update change log.
These four parameters should be very useful as a replacement of the modulator (e.g. Fixed velocity).
Hope you guys (who like to make sf2) enjoy this update as much as i do.
Big thanks to Claudio for such a great support!
Last reminder, don't forget to DONATE if you guys are able to.
Cheers. kinwie.

I just saw the warning notes you added at the download section.
But yes, I'm safe with v1.9.1, checking again while running VMS and nothing suspicious annoying my system (Win7-32bit).
You are very welcome, VirtualMIDISynth really worth more than my donation.
