Re: New GM soundfont - "CompiFont"

Richard, thanks for your work.

I'll open a new forum section soon, dedicated to SoundFonts; I only need to add a feature to forum to let the first post in the thread be always editable by its author.
This way links could be placed there and there's no need to add new posts when they change.

CompiFontREST.sf2
Patch 1 - Yamaha 9ft Grand

No response / sound from keys C4 to B6 unless velocity is 99 or higher.

Is this a known problem?

Edit: Fantastic work by the way!

Re: New GM soundfont - "CompiFont"

@J 'Wildfire' Town - it is a known problem, and it is with FL Studio's Soundfont player.

I reccomend you using SFZ by Rgcaudio [link] or SFZ+ if you could put your hands on it.

Why to change?
SFZ does not only play better, but it also exports SO MUCH FASTER! It is like 10+++ times faster. And it is free. Was literally amazed.
Rar contains 2 exactly same flp files played with Default and SFZ (both Patch 1 - Yamaha 9ft Grand)

If you would have any problem loading the soundfont, choose different mode in SFZ [like pr32]

#update
SFZ seems to create glitches while existing in two instances. Sforzando seems a lot better + it seems to use less memory. Cheers.

Issue: The Choir Aah and Choir Ooh samples don't loop, which I suppose is more natural, but some General MIDI files expect to sustain notes almost indefinitely.

E: Now that I think about it, they also attack noticeably late.
