Reverb, chorus reset values?

Hi,

When a GM / GS reset is sent, what are the default reverb, chorus values that CoolSoft uses? I'd like to try and match the SC-55 settings (Roland VSC uses 40,0) when using Sound Canvas imitation soundfonts.

And thank you for the superb quality synth!

MIDI_EVENT_REVERB_LEVEL = 100
MIDI_EVENT_REVERB_LEVEL = 100
MIDI_EVENT_CHORUS_LEVEL = 100
MIDI_EVENT_REVERB = 0
MIDI_EVENT_CHORUS = 0

See here for values meaning: http://www.un4seen.com/doc/#bassmidi/BASS_MIDI_StreamEvent.html

midi_event_reverb

(cc #91) MIDI_EVENT_REVERB = 0

That's the one I'm interested about.

Is there a way to tell CoolSoft synth to 'ignore' a GM / GS reset command issued by a MIDI file or DOS game?

I'd like to use this reset midi - sends Roland GS reset sysex + manual channel init for non-Roland devices. Sets device to SC-55 mkII settings. And sometimes I like to adjust the chorus / reverb to 127 myself afterwards also.

Thanks for any help.

You could try to use MIDIOX

You could try to use MIDIOX (http://www.midiox.com) between your MIDI player and VirtualMIDISynth.
