I already found a shortcoming in the latest Orchestral pack: D_DOOM.MUS, from Doom 2. (MIDI and text file conversions included.)
It needs Tremolo Strings (patch 44) to go higher in pitch than you supplied.
Other than that, it seems pretty great so far!
E: Found another one! D_THE_DA.MUS, the fretless bass instrument (patch 35) doesn't go low enough.

I can barely hear the distortion guitar in my MIDIs. Can you make it louder please? Thanks.

Update:
Pushing towards creation of new CompiFont, which will include:
- Completely new samples for most of the instruments [higher bit/bitrate/kHz]
- Fixing known issues with existing samples if they will persist
- Detalied licensing
Just started the project, so don't expect it to land soon.

Hey @Snappyapple632. Sorry for the wait.
The news is - the project is not finished. There is more to do than done, about 73 instruments are left to be made. Luckily, most of them are "extra instruments" - all of the Sitars, Shakuhachi's, Kalimbas, Whistles, Helicopters etc. On the other hand, looping is not done and it will take A LOT of extra time.
Nonetheless, I will not be pushing the release of Compifont right now, as at the moment I am focusing on my Ph.D. studies. Compifont was a great adventure back in the day and a great thing to do for all of you guys. But right now, with all the licensing - it's more of a hard struggle and it doesn't pay off financially (literally, it gives no income).
If you guys are still interested in seeing exactly what has been done until this moment, write an e-mail to me at pphiddengmail.com. I will send you everything.
With kind regards and all the love,
Martin
