Synthesia headphones issue

Hi there! While using synthesia the sound comes out of the speakers no problem but if I plug my headphones on the front panel the sound keeps coming from the speakers. Realtek on-board sound card.

If anyone could guide me it would be great! Thanks in advance

I'm supposing your speakers are connected to the Green jack on the back of your PC.

Are you sure front plug and speakers are linked to the same device?
If not you need to change the analog output device in VMS options.

Otherwise, on modern PCs, the switching between front and rear is not "mechanical" anymore, but software.
Have a look into audio device driver config.
