There is already request to add support for sysex messages to modify soundfonts (at least enable/disable).

To complete feature and have real benefit it would be good to add MIDI out device to which VMS would send sysex message with the whole sound font configuration on startup and on any change, and/or on custom request that comes on MIDI in (sysex).

Well, once implemented SysEx support, we're able to change almost everything could be changed through the GUI.

I've added a reference to this thread to the TODO list.
