Error in VirtualMIDISynth Output driver

Hi:

Could you help me to resolve the following problem which appeared during using VirtualMIDISynth Output driver in the Band-In-A-Box Sequencer and showing the attached image.

I was searching what 'another Program' in my PC could be using it at the same time but could NOT find any other Program...!
Many thanks for your earlier advice. Tony H.

Re: Error in VirtualMIDISynth Output driver

Open VMS configurator, then the About tab.
You should see the filename of processes that are using each virtual device, or if the device is unused.

Re: Error in VirtualMIDISynth Output driver

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, the 'About' in Configurator shows only the following:

Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit), Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
VirtualMIDISynth: 2.9.1 (x86)
Memory (MB): total 2037, free 725 (36%)
Available devices: 1
=== VirtualMIDISynth #1 ===
*

Of course 'Windows 7 Home Premium' is my OS - do I have to re-install the VirtualMIDISynth so that Windows 'accept' it WITHOUT interferring with running the Sequencer - I'm just guessing because I don't understand this Windows message ...!

Re: Error in VirtualMIDISynth Output driver

So nothing is using VMS... I don't know why Band-In-A-Box is throwing that message, sorry.
