That's not up to me... VMS belongs to BASS libraries from Un4seen. So, if that effect is not supportes by the BASSMIDI library, there's nothing VMS can do to support it.
I suggest you to post a request on Un4seen forum and ask for it to be supported.

That should be unrelated to the device changes added to comply new Windows10 requirements, will have a look.
Meanwhile you should be able to workaround it by quickly stopping/restarting play; ths way your MIDI client should resend the channels program config (or should be possible to force it to do).

Please add Yamaha DSP Effects... Also the programs (Instruments) keeps Resetting during Device/SF2 Changes...

I have found a Yamaha VSTi plugin called S-YXG50 Which only works on Foobar2000 player. I just installed it and listened to some existing XG MIDI Files on my collection. At the moment I realized that VirtualMIDISynth is MISSING a number of stunning DSP Effects like Flanger, Phaser and Filters. I was very disappointed that my Own SoundFont (ColomboGMGS2) Cannot Support XG Modes although it do maintain XG Drum maps almost correctly (I can't even find out a way to try different SoundFonts on S-YXG50) I was sorta blaming my SoundFont considering it as nothing but a great loser... According to your introduction We are out of luck at x64 systems, Neither S-YXG50, Nor Cakewalk SFz+ are supported anymore. S-YXG50 is obsolete now. But it's far more straightforward when it comes to performance. A little Latency error had killed it!?

Anyway, I NEED YOUR HELP!

PLEASE ADD AT LEAST THE XG DSP EFFECT SUPPORT TO VIRTUALMIDISYNTH!

By the way, as I was addicted to changing SoundFonts/Devices on the go in order to compare them, VirtualMIDISynth Helped me a lot Since version 2.8.0. But after the upgrade where you made this as a Device readable in Device Manager, VirtualMIDISynth had lost its ability to maintain Programs/Bank Select Messages on Manual SoundFont/Device changes, whether by a little mistake, VirtualMIDISynth keeps resetting all instruments to Pianos and Stamdard Drum kits. I must appreciate if you consider these matters and make VirtualMIDISynth even better!

Thank you!
