Problems installing Virtual Midi Synth under Windows 11

On my PC is running Windows 11 and windows doesnt allow me to install the latest version of Virtual Midi Synth.

If i switch off all application checks in windows the installation is stopping

to use it with simulation mode for windows 10 or older does also not work.

What you mean with that? Could you be more specific? Is there any error message shown? Is there something relevant into the event log?
Please help me understand what's happening...

i think it could be that the Windows "Smart screen" blocks it under windows security> "app and browser control" first menu on the top there u can disable it. in windows 11 the should be different way to it. But in case windows is blocking it on default. Its a protection security mechanism that noone can install easily on your pc programs. But u can give an "okay" for it. but it have to be disabled for short. after installation you can enabled it again. i hope it fixed it.
