No extension on installer file

Hey guys,

This isn't a bug with VMS itself, but the current download page (https://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/download/CoolSoft_VirtualMIDISynth_2....).

The downloaded installer file doesn't have the .exe extension (or any extension)—so unless the downloader adds it manually, Windows doesn't know what to do with it.

Cheers, A.

Re: No extension on installer file

Well, that's really strange 🤔.

I've just checked it with Firefox, Chrome and Opera (all the latest versions) and it works just fine.
Both if you wait for the countdown to complete and if you click on the direct download link, the browser download dialog appears and the proposed filename is CoolSoft_VirtualMIDISynth_2.12.8.exe

Which browser are you using?
Have you installed any specific extension that could "interfere" with the download?

Re: No extension on installer file

I was able to reproduce the bug and I should have fixed it.
Could you please confirm that it works correctly now?
