Is there a list of all patches/banks - and how would I see it>

Hi all,

I'm using VirtualMIDISynth to enhance the sounds made by my laptop when I play Noteworthy transcriptions of big orchestral pieces.  If I wanted to investigate all the possible cymbal crashes and find one suitable to the big orchestral sound, how would I go about it? Is there perhaps some software that can show what you have to do with the Patch and Bank settings to make it happen?

Please don't assume I know anything about soundfonts - I only use them for Noteworthy: I have no keyboard or mixer, nor any previous experience of tinkering with these extra sounds.  I'm aware that ‘simple’ questions often generate ‘complicated’ answers, but I would welcome some guidance - if there is any available…!

Many thanks in advance,

Jonathan

Please try using soundfont editors like Viena or Polyphone.
