Midi for Medical purpose, Banks a mystery to me

I have created a FreqGen that uses 16 channels to generate frequencies but I can't understand the bank switching in relation to the PC and Coolsynth. The first 128 instruments work fine but when you look in a sound font file like FluidR3 there are 194 instruments so how do I get to these?

You must send a Bank select MIDI message to the device (VirtualMIDISynth) in order to change bank, like you do with Program change message to change instrument.
