Something about sound banks

Hello,

I have a large soundfounts collection, and also some orchestral ones which feature various great instruments. I am able to choose which sound bank to use in QWS and definitely it works. However, I don't know what are the predefined banks for some soundfount, because the soundfount Timbres of Heaben is the only one that contains a read me file with all the bank numbers, even for the drumkits. On the other hand, I'd like to use al the samples of a soundfount, for example the Crississ with their corresponding banks, not just the 127 ones.

So, do you have any idea about how to know what are the bank numbers for a soundfount? Thanks in advance!

If you like the music, try midi. If you don't like midi, try the music.

I don't know any program that has this feature, but if I well remember BASS has some functions to extract these info from a given SF2.
Will have a look...
