VirtualMIDISynth Failing To Load

I use Noteworthy Composer but also have several other music applications running including PreSonus two 4 Professional and Line 6 UX1 Audio Input/Output hardware with software drivers.

I also have a Masterkey 61 midi controller keyboard. Ever since I set up my studio, when I open Noteworthy Composer, I get the message "One or more of your selected midi devices are failing to open". I have VirtualMIDISynth selected as the output device. When I try to open VirtualMIDSynth I get a message "Midid driver is not correctly installed on this system. Do you want to fix it?"

I'm not sure how to proceed to trouble shoot this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Re: VirtualMIDISynth Failing To Load

I suppose you've updated to the latest Windows 10 version (2004).

It changed the way MIDI devices are registered to the system, so I'm working on a beta version that fixes it.
Have a look at this thread and test the attached version...
