I can only assure you that VirtualMIDISynth does not contain any keylogger/malware/adware/badware.

This time I'm sure it's a false positive because:

  • only 1/56 flags it as positive
  • Baidu on Virustotal is updated to 3 days ago

Please retest it again when they update their definitions and repost here.

False positives are a pain for small developers like me, because each AV has it's own specific procedure to send samples and get their definitions updated.
So you can wonder how hard, annoying and time expensive it could be.
