Well, I suppose that this bug could be strictly related to how audio drivers manage power state changes.
It seems that some of them (like yours) won't reinitialize correclty after sleep, or they require to be re-initialized after power suspension.
None of my test platforms have this behavior: if I press the POWER button the PC goes to sleep then, just after pressing the POWER button again, it wakes back up and (after a few seconds), it resume playing as nothing happened in between 🙄.
Anyway it worths a try to detect Windows power events and force a reinitialization of the audio layer, just to be sure it gets back working without problems.
The attached version adds this experimental feature, please check it out and report if it works correctly.
I can't test if it fixes the bug (because I don't have it); I've only tested that it won't add any new one 😉.
UPDATE: official version 2.13.3 released, atttachment removed

Hi, I also have the same issue, I was about to report it but noticed that it already has been reported, well in my case it happens in hibernation (almost the same),
Anyways I've tried that beta version you attached and the problem disappeared
Here is a gif of the bug happening in the non beta version anyways, as you can see no sound (on the windows mixer) and the amount of voices is completely bugged:
Cheers
