VMS doesn't launch without the audio device running last time

　　Hello,

VirtualMIDISynth cannot be launched when the current audio device is different from the device that were running last session.

I cannot open VMS Configurator, so I cannot change the audio output setting, so I have to connect the device running last time.

I want VMS to reset audio device to "default", when the device has some problem. If you can't do that, I want you to make setting that can used even if VMS cannot been started.

Sorry for my poor English.

VMS should already work like that.

This is what I've just tried to check it...

  1. attached an external USB device
  2. started VMS, then opened its configuration window
  3. selected the USB device
  4. closed VMS
  5. removed USB device
  6. restarted VMS
  7. VMS complains about the missing device and temporarilyswitches to device with the attached error message
  8. still can open configuration and select another device (or confirm selection of the one...)

Did you do something different (or have a different error message)?
