Make MIDI File Converter Follow Current MIDI Mixer State

I think this would be a really useful feature:

You adjust the sliders with the live midi and once you are satisfied with your mixing you just put the midi into the midi file converter

Or maybe you just want the whole midi to be quieter because at max volume it has clipping at some point so you just reduce the master slider

You just want to record 1 channel? Easy, you just mute all channels except for the one you want to hear and then you put it in the midi file converter

Thanks for reading the suggestion, I've been a VirtualMIDISynth user since version 1.13.2 and lots of Cool (heh) features were added since then, I really love how much it has improved in these 2 years

Re: Make MIDI File Converter Follow Current MIDI Mixer State

Just released 2.5.0-beta1 version that features a MIDI Mixer for MIDI Converter:
https://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/forum/thread/645

To easily setup your mixer levels you could:

  • adjust mixer levels while hearing the MIDI file through VirtualMIDISynth #1 device
  • export mixer state to a file (right click on mixer and Save...)
  • open converter then open its mixer
  • load the previously saved mixer status
  • start MIDI conversion

Please post your suggestions about possible improvements on that thread.
